Time!!!!!

Hi guys....

Can you please tell me how long it takes to get from johor bharu airport to singapore airport and what is the best route to take. Our flight lands in JB at 18:50 and our connecting flight is from Singapore at 23:00. Do we have time to get across and make this flight? Has air malaysia got a good reputation for being on time?

Look forward to getting a reply

Hi, we have replied similar question in other post, you may visit this URL:

1. If you fly to JB by Malaysia Airline.

i. There is coach service (for Malaysia Airline Ticket holders only) between Copthorne Orchid Hotel, Singapore and Senai International Airport. It is advisable to make reservations in advance at 1-300-88-3000. Fare is about RM 12.00

ii. From Orchid Hotel, you can go to the airport by taxi, Fare is about SGD 15-20 or you check with the hotel%26#39;s reception counter on how to go to Airport by public transport

2. If you fly by Air Asia

i. Senai Airport - Kotaraya Central Bus Terminal (aka City Lounge, which is in JB town area) by Causeway Link Express, RM 8.00

ii. Kotaraya Central Bus Terminal (JB town area) - Singapore (Kranji MRT) by Causeway Link, Bus number: CW1, CW2. Fare: RM 1.00

PS: At Kotaraya bus terminal, besides CW1, CW2, you also can take S%26#39;pore bus (950, 170, 160) from JB to S%26#39;pore. The bus ticket is the same RM 1.00

iii. Kranji mrt station -%26gt; Changi Airport, by mrt, S$2

PS: If there is no traffic jam within the journey, it would spend about 2-2.5 hour to reach. Related url and bus schedule: www.senaiairport.com/travellers.asp…

srry but cannot open the URL...

just would like to know the fastest way from JB to Singapore...taxi?...and how long it would take us...cause of connecting flight ....

can you please help...?

You try visit those URL again, I had tried many times and it works very well. Below is my clarification:

Journey Part 1: JB Airport -%26gt; JB city area, either taxi or public bus is ok, just by taxi you may just need 40mins to reach JB city area and cost about RM40-50; by public bus, you would spend 60mins and cost only RM8

Journey Part 2: JB city are (JB custom) -%26gt; Singapore custom (woodlands checkpoint), the traffic within this journey (usually is private vehicles(taxi is included) lanes)is very jam especially from 5am-9am, 5pm-9pm and weekends/pubilc holidays.

If there is traffic jam for private vehicles lanes before JB custom (it could spends you up to 2-3 hours!!!), then go by public bus is the fastest way.

Journey Part 3: Woodlands checkpoint -%26gt; Changi airport, taxi is the fastest way, it spends about 20-30mins, cost is about SGD25
