Best place to stay?

Hi

I%26#39;m going to Kuala Lumpur for a few days in December this year. Where should I stay so that I%26#39;m close to where all the excitement is/city centre and the area is relatively cheap?

Any hotels that you would recommend?

Would suggest that you find a hotel within the ';Golden Triangle';. As it is easy getting around.

Some example of hotels within the ';golden triangle';:

1. Shangri-la

2. Swiss-Garden Hotel

3. Concorde Hotel

4. Istana Hotel

5. Berjaya Time Square.

Just a suggestion. : )

David, can you give us a rough idea of your budget per night for a hotel? One person’s definition of “relatively cheap” isn’t necessarily the same as the next persons. I can list a few options at around rm300, but if you’re only looking to spend rm150 per night, then it would be pointless.

You can research on the below.

1. Capitol hotel

2. Royale Bintang

3. Hotel Istana

4. Prince hotel and residence.

These are generally below RM300.

If you%26#39;ld like something about RM100, but yet clean and comfortable, you might wanna try ';Number Eight'; It%26#39;s quite a new boutique hotel within 5-10 min walk to bukit bintang shopping area.. and near to the clubbing area and changkat bukit bintang.

No frills but good location and service.
