Road Trip from KL to Kota Bahru, Kelantan

Hi, I am taking a road trip with some friends from KL to KB.

Its probably a 6 hour drive or longer. Anyone has any suggestions on interesting rest stops, resturants..etc where we can take breaks?

Hi maic, which route you are planning to take?

a). via Gua Musang via Bentong onto Route #8; or

b). East Coast ,then route #3.

route (a) is shorter, but very little restaurants, except in Raub and Kuala Lipis. R%26amp;R distant apart. Also make sure, to fill up fuel tank to ';F';.

Route (b), though longer, but on East Coast, few R%26amp;R and petrol kiosks, and when entering Bukit Saggul area for onwards to Cherating/Dungun, plenty of seafood restaurants, or even the ones (famed for stuffed crabs) in Kemaman.

Then along the way, many makeshift wooden huts with little girls or ';makchik'; selling keropok lekor.

Have a safe and pleasant journey.

Lastly route (a) not so advisable during nightime.

Are you going thru%26#39; Gua Musang?

Actually not sure yet, was thinking of taking Kuantan then north, seems to have more towns along the way that we can stop to take a rest.

Hi,once took a bus via gua musang,journey is about 8 hrs. If you take the other route,could b longer ,not sure. Not advisable for night journey though, lots of F1 wanna b lorries and bus drivers and watch out for speed traps. Have a safe trip.
