Hi John,

Are you a Middle East (Omani?) citizen? I mean is that your nationality. The reason I am asking is, the site I often use for booking offers the Brooklyn suites in Berjaya Times Square at different prices for different nationalities. With them it costs RM650 for UK residents, RM850 for Middle Eastern residents and RM740 for everyone else. So if you happen to be a Brit then let me know and I’ll give you the details of this booking agency and you can save RM100 per night. If not, then sorry I can’t help you :-(

Though RM750 does sound reasonable to me, based on what I paid for a smaller 1 bedroom suite.

Hi John,

A friend of mine had stayed there, rates are resonable, but room has lots of defects - aircond not working, hot water as well. Maybe u want to consider staying another place.

Thanks.

Do you really need to stay at Time Square? You may want to consider some other hotels that are within walking distance of time square, and try whether they are any 2bedroom availalble. Alternatively, ask for 2 connecting rooms and I thnk the cost is much cheaper than Time Square has to offer. That%26#39;s waht I used to do, I think its worth while unless you insist.

Maybe you can try Hotel Melia which is just across Times Square. book through the hotel website itself as i find the rate is cheapest there.

There%26#39;re a few serviced apartments you can try:

Darby Park, the Ascott, ZON, Pacific Regency, Prince Hotel and Serviced Aprt, Regency Aprt.

why dont u try contact mayflower i have deal most of the time

with them they are excelent reliable and one of the best in kl agent in travel agent here are the person i use to contact

you better get somewhere else around klcc its easy drive around the city.

Hi, John,

Do check out The Ascott Kuala Lumpur. I stayed there for two weeks last year in a two-bedroom apartment, and was very happy with the accommodation and service provided. I found that the rate was reasonable esp. compared to others in similar catogory. Location was very good, right next to KLCC. The place was understated luxurious (furnishings could be newer), giving a friendly and homey atmosphere. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Also, the residents were diverse, ranging from long term stay ex-pats., business people, to families in different races and nationalities.
