Vaccinations

Just been checking up on what jabs I鈥檒l be needing ready for visiting Langkawi in June. I think all I鈥檒l be needing is Typhoid, Hepititus A, Tetanus and Polio. Have I missed any out?

Also will I be needing any Malaria protection? I think probably not but thought it best to check

You don%26#39;t need polio or antimalarials for Langkawi or anywhere in the West coast of Peninsular Malaysia. If you%26#39;ve had a tetanus jab in the last 5 - 10 years, you won%26#39;t need it. Hepatitis A needs 2 jabs a few months apart so you might be too late to get properly vaccinated for your trip. Stick to cooked foods and you will be ok. Typhoid is optional.

Your GP should be able to advise better. Have a good holiday!

As Gasman says ..... you only need tetanus. Langkawi is very safe as far as tropical medical problems go.

You won%26#39;t have any problems with malaria.

Take some mozzie repellant.
