Has anyone been to this hotel before? is it good?

And is there a connecting beach or do i have to take a taxi to go to one.

And what attractions are there near this beach?

This is a typical Malay hotel looks very very nice It is in Kuah a lot of business men stay over here or malay families who wants to shop in Kuah. It is a nice hotel but not for oversea people Well there is always something for everyone. You dont say where you are looking for that should make it a little bit easier to give a reply. I do understand not everybody is looking for 5 star but please give a little bit more information what you want to have. It is also easy for oversea people to give there answers ( I dont want to blaim anyone but every one have his own feeling about holiday) If you want to go for shopping in Kuah then this would be a perfect hotel when you want to stay on the beach this is not an option when you want to be on a quit place in the middle of nature this is also not an option.

So many people, so many wishes thats why there are also so many diffeerent places to stay in Langkawi. There is always something for everybody! I just find this forum and the first thing what was very tipycal for me was that so many people on this forum are asking questions about the 5 star hotels; Ive never seen this before its just a notice. Do you go to Langkawi for the hotel or do you go for this beautiful island? Maybe it was better I make a new topic of this but I am just wondering about! It is so simple for everybody to say this is good or bad but there are so many different people so everybody has his own budget and his own thoughts about what is good or what is bad! An island with hotels, resorts, chalets, private bungalows, houses, appartments this is an island for backpackers, families, locals, oversea tourists, expats lets say an island for everyone. Its just what you want and expect for your holiday !

Sorry langkawilover but I disagree. The Bella Vista is a dump, built on a land refill. It looks vacant from the outside and most of this place looks like it should be demolished.

Yeah ! I know they spent a lot of money building it but it was the same as many of the building contracts that have taken place on Langkawi ie .. some local lining the pocket. I really don%26#39;t know how how you could recommend it.

It is dirty, smelly and there is a very vacant appearance about this building.

Sleep on a bench, the facilities are not much worse.

What you say is right, used by business men and families over from the mainland doing some duty free shopping in and around Kuah.

If I was to recommend someplace in Kuah Town (not inc Westin) it would have to be Citybay View or Condo Istana. Maybe even Langkawi Seaview due to its location. Shame its so difficult to get short lets on Chogm Villa, probably the best pool on Langkawi.

I now some appartments in Chogm Villa which you can rent for a month! isn%26#39;t it beautiful?
