Booking Silkaire from Langkawi

Hi,

We are flying into Langkawi from ireland, but plan on coming back from Singapore. We are trying to check silkair prices from Langkawi to Singapore, but the website wont show these. Does anyone know how I can get these? Should I contact silkair directly in Langkawi or is there a knack to doing this?

You should be able to book SilkAir through MAS, we always booked our flights to Singapore at the Langkawi MAS office.

There is only two flights a week to Singapore with them, think it was wednesday and sunday.

If you are not traveling during scholl holidays it should be fine to book when you are in Langkawi, I did this quite regularly, booking a day or two in advance.

Can%26#39;t remember the exact price in ringgit but it was around 50GBP each way.

When you arrive at Langkawi Airport come out of arrivals and turn right, walk along and you will see the MAS desk/ticket counter. Book as soon as you arrive on the island.

Direct flight did not come up on website, but there is a flight via KL. Might be tempted as only an hour or so longer and will get us to singapore earlier. Not ideal, but would prefer to have it booked in advance.

Try telephoneing the above company, I have used them many times. I think you should be able to book a direct ticket on SilkAir before you fly out to Malaysia.
