Hi all,

Just need some advice. Me %26amp; my gf will be going to Langkawi this september for 4D / 3N. Which resort to stay and what to do there.

Budget will be RM200-RM300 for accomodation per night. Please advise. Many thanks in advance.

Try to get the tour package from KL agents. Those usually include transfers, accommodation, island tours.

Popular budget range hotel will be Berjaya, Holiday Villa, Mutiara.

You should get a cheaper price than what you have budgeted for if you are malay. Try the prices at Frangipani, its popular with malaysians.

Take an umbrella Ray. Sept/Oct are wettest months in Langkawi.

I woudn%26#39;t say holiday villa is bad. But u might wanna google a budget hotel called Sandy Beach. It%26#39;s on the main beach. It has a treetop cabin, with a balcony, overlooking the beach.

Especially romantic in the evenings, when you can sip champagne and watch the sunset on the balcony.

You budget is much more than enough. Alternatively, Frangipanni has nice beach front rooms with individual outdoor jaccuzzi. Though I would say the service staff there are not very well trained.

Berjaya is nice too.

Are you sure the place with the treetop cabana%26#39;s is Sandy Beach. I thought it was called Malibest, we stayed at Malibest and rented one of the treetop places for a week last year.

Sandy Beach is further up past Underwater World at Pantai Tengah, Malibest is on Pantai Cenang opposite Debbie%26#39;s Bar.

The rack rate for the treetop was 180RM per night.
