Holidaying in Kota Kinabalu

For TA Traveller reviews of hotels in KK have a look at tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g298307-Kota_Kinabalu…

Sutera Harbour (Pacific %26amp; Magellan Hotels, Shangri-la Tanjung Aru, are resorts close to the city with easy access.

Shangri-la Rasa Ria and Nexus are resorts about 40 -50 minutes from the city and do not have easy access although both run shuttle busses several times a day.

Hyatt, Le Meridian, Promenade, Jesslton etc are conventional Hotels in the City area.

There is also a Mercure due to open in June at Warisan Square which is a great location opposite the KK Harbour Boardwalk and Restaurants and right in the middle of the shopping area.

Have a look at http://www.accorhotels.com.au/ and you will be able to find information on this with rates etc.

Hope all this helps

Hi

We are in KK at present and we are staying in penthousekk it is owned by a Kiwi couple and we have rented it for 10 days cost for the 6 of us 850RM per night good deal right in town over looking the sea 5 bedrooms large kitchin and lounge and a computer 42'; TV well stocked bar and a view to die for and a large swimming pool. they have a web site check it out www.penthousekk.com

You should check out Radius International Hotel.

It is quite new, located at Warisan Square, which is a very posh shopping complex, right next to Centrepoint, and across the street from Api-Api Centre and Waterfront! Really great location!

The price is quite reasonable as well for a great location stay.

Hope this helps! :)

Is everyone taking antimalarials whilst in KK? We are honeymooning there in November and am getting mixed reports as to whether or not to take them.

Thanks
