We may be in Miri next weeked due to a last minute business trip. It doesn%26#39;t look like there%26#39;s really a lot to do in Miri other than the caves, which we are really not interested in (due to some major claustrophobia on my part), but is there perhaps another destination close to Miri that might be fun for a couple of days? We would rent a car and don%26#39;t mind a 2 or 3 hour drive from Miri.
Could we get to a longhouse in that amount of time, or perhaps somewhere else that may be interesting? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.

Other than the famous caves, Miri is also famous for her diving spots. Plenty of spots to choose.
Long house visit, sure. Just make arrangement with the local tour operators.
Brunei is about 1hr drive away but also nothing special (to me) except the world biggest palace.
Sorry not too familiar with Miri as my visits are also more of business trips.. so diving %26amp; longhouse will be a good option.
