The distance between both places are quite near and i prefer theme park hotel.

About 5 - 10 minutes walking distance.

Would also recommend Theme Park Hotel. The layout is bigger compared to the other hotels. The ceilings may not be as high, but the floor space is wider. Also, the theme park is right next door (obviously) to the hotel.

Hey please tell me the best and affordable place to stay in Genting and malaysia if you guys have already travelled there. I am with two kids 10 yrs and 2 yrs.

Well I guess it is better for you to stay in a hotel as it is easier to get around the area. Here is a website I found which a lot of offer for the hotels around Genting Highlands.

It is easy to get to Genting Highland on your own, just take a bus from Puduraya to Genting Highland and from there take the Skyway Cable car to the top. Make sure you purchase you return ticket to KL with the same bus and check the departure time from Genting Highland the moment you get off the bus.
