but surely you must realise that your question is simply asking for people%26#39;s opinions. You will probably get a list of 50 hotels as each person will like a certain type of hotel (amenities, location, cost etc) so you will be absolutely no better off !

You need to refine your search. For example, what is your friends budget. Do you need upmarket ? Mid bracket ? Low end ?
You are from Langkawi, you also know that you can pay between 35RM and 800RM on the Cenang strip.
Can narrow down recommendations once we know the price per night required.
