from semporna(tawau )to sepilok (sandakan):bus -taxi-plane?

we are a family of 5 and after some days in semporna for snorkeling in august ,we are going to sepilok and kinabatangan area (uncle tan) ; what%26#39;s the best solution from semporna to sepilok ? ; there is a flight from tawau to sandakan (FAX) not expensive at all (55 RM ) and my opinion is that it%26#39;s better than taking a bus or hiring a taxi for us 5 (how long from seporna to sepilok by car : 3,4 hours ??? )

By bus, changing at Lahd Datu, about 6-7 hours, (haven%26#39;t done taxi - too expensive). Better to fly.

If going to Semporna then try to organise a Home-Stay on Mabul, only 15 minutes from Sipidan and Kapalai. (See my previous links).

Semporna(flying backward) to Tawau:Then Tawau to Sandakan ,you will be wasting time and money to check in/check out of both airports by which time taken would be more than sufficient to take a cab(from Semporna directly to Sepilok.%26gt;this way more logical(about 4hours).

Then Sepilok to Lahad datu,kinabatangan (Uncle tan)

By Fax Rm55++tax(Tawau %26gt;Sandakan+Taxi fare for transfer) would be more expensive for 5 persons.

Negotiate for Taxi to take 5 passengers would be more convinence and cheaper
