Options/Suggestions 6Hr layover KLIA

We are travelling to and from Perth Aust and Phuket. Due to flights we will have 3hr stopover on the way there and 6hr stopover on the return leg.

Could I please have some suggestions on what to do. The travelling party will be 4 adults and 4 teenage girls. On the way to Phuket we will arrive 6.30am depart 9.45am and on the return journey arrive 12.50pm depart 6.05pm

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Cheers

Trevor

Hi.

The 3hr stopover is much too short. I%26#39;d hang around at the airport. As for the 6hr stopover, you could take the train from the airport terminal and go straight to KLCC. You could see the KLCC, go on to the skybridge, visit the Petrosains science museum, check out Aquaria and do some shopping right there at KLCC. Good food too. Either take the LRT or taxi to the KL Tower nearby. If you have time and the energy, you might want to go to the KL Eye at Titiwangsa, not far from KLCC. For souvenirs, go to the Central Market nearby.

Altough, don%26#39;t think you can do all this at once as you may have to rush to the airport way before 6pm.

Enjoy.

For the 3 hour layover, nothing much you can do except hang around the airport.

For the 6 hour layover, really nothing much as well. It takes 1 hour to get to the city and another hour back, and it costs RM70 for the train ride per person return.

You could possibly see if you can arrange for a day room with the Pan Pacific KLIA and let the family rest and spend some time relaxing at the pool, it would probably cost less than taking the train into KL for 8 pax.
