Corus Hotel

Its an old hotel. very nice place, at first they check me in a smoking room which just smells so bad and facing the back of the hotel with a bad view, we had to insist for a non-smoking room, and behold, they gave us one overlooking the pool. The room is very cozy and clean. except for the comfort room which has a noisy floor drain every time you use the sink to wash up or the toilet, the noise of the running water in the drain is amplified out the floor drain, i wonder why their plumbing is done this way. The tub is not elderly-friendly, it doesnt have any grab bars for safety or when you stand up from the tub you dont have something to grasp to keep you from slipping, pretty dangerous. Their breakfast is outstanding, all kinds of food is serve, my wife loves it.

Lousy experience huh. Well, a nice hotel next to KLCC don%26#39;t come cheap, Corus is very, very ,very cheap. and its very, very, very old. and its never been renovated before and its been there since that part of KL was a huge mudland. Well, of course the whole of the twin towers and Ampang park is still sitting on some very muddy soft soil, they balance each other out and which is why they can%26#39;t go on with the Four Seasons hotel project at the moment in case our national monument sinks. But anywaz, cheap and good is hard to get. Get the executive rooms, or move next door to the Impiana KLCC and Spa, the same price range but its newer.
