Can someone please advise us on what to do. We really want to stay in The Nexus resort as it looks fab but from what i can gather its a bit remote and travelling to see the Oranutans may mean another flight to visit the nearest sanctury?we really want to see the Oranutans! should we change our plans to stay in the Shangri La?

If you want to see the Orangs at Rasa Ria make sure you contact the hotel and book a couple of days in advance. They only take small numbers and is is in demand.
Both the Nexus and Rasa Ria are about 40 - 50 minutes from KK and are remote but have their own advantges like good beaches and natural environment.
