Does anybody know the distance from the cruiseship terminal in Kotakinabulu to town? If need be are there taxies available? Any info appreciated.

The distance to the main shopping area would be 3 - 4 km. I would guess there will be taxi%26#39;s and the cost would be about RM10.

The cruise pier is adjacent to the public jetty which is just on the fringe of town, probably a 10 minute walk away. It%26#39;s a bit of industrial area (where the cruise ship docks), but there should be plenty of taxis available. Kota Kinabalu, the town itself, is not that big, so you can zip from one end to the other in a relative short time, provided it%26#39;s not rush hour traffic.
