hi stacey,

its good to know u r coming over for ur honeymoon and its wise of u to plan ur vacation in advance. however, for mt kinabalu climbing, it is usually packed since lots of tourist made their reservation in advance, like 6 mths in advance. not to worry, there a lot of travel agent in town and im sure if u r lucky enuf u might get space as most of these agents have their own blocked bookings. try wildlife experience.one of the best in sabah. call their office +6088 252540 or email them at alieaster97@hotmail.com. if u can%26#39;t do the mt climbing, theres a lot of activities u can enjoy in 3 weeks time! try the survivor island, it mud bathing! its very natural! enjoy..

Hello Stacey,

The weather in Sabah in September is very good, just like any other time of year, don%26#39;t worry.

It%26#39;s always sunny and warm , around 30 degrees rainy season starts only end of october.

A good place to stay for you would be around Kota Kinabalu which can be your gateway to the rest of Sabah.

Mt Kinabalu can be reached within a few hours and snorkeling can be done in the coastal area of Kota Kinabalu.

Although climbing Mt. Kinabalu is more like walking up it is really challenging.

It will take you at least 2 days to go up and come down again and after that it might be a good idea to go to Poring Hot Springs to have a nice bath in the natural sulphur baths and a swim in the pool.

If you feel like it, you can go for the canopy walk there and have a good view of how the jungle looks like.

It%26#39;s also not far from Beaufort where you can go see the proboscis monkey, you know the one with the big nose :))

Another must see is turtle island where you can see the turtles come ashore and lay their eggs.

From there you can go easily to Sepilok which is the world famous orang utang sanctuary.

You can see the baby orang utang being trained to get ready to go back to their natural habitat.

From Sepilok it%26#39;s not far from Sukau where you can go on a river cruise.

You might see all the animals which Sabah is famous for.

Orang Utang, Makake, snakes like python and green vipers, Hornbills, Crocodiles, Proboscis Monkeys and if you are lucky the jungle elephant too.
