New World Renaissance Hotel Website?

Hi doopwoop,

I love to stay here. Most of the time, my husband and I will stay here and mostly we stayed for 22 nights as they would give you a free limousine to pick you up from the airport and return. Discounts on telephone bill and also food and daily discount for the laundry!

If you book your hotel with breakfast, you could take breakfast at both towers any day you like. The New World Wing and the The Renaissance Wing. The buffet breakfast is big and delicious. We used to come down as early as 6.30 am!

About 30 - 35 minutes walk to the KLCC, 10 minutes to the PUTRA underground. If you like to walk, you could also walk to Bukit Bintang from the Concorde Hotel about 35 - 40 minutes.

My husband told me if you stay two weeks the most, they give you the above service but not sure, you may ask the hotel directly.

peekaboo and rio j thanks for the promt replies.

Hey peekaboo i was amazed at the prices this hotel charges! We are also going to visit Singapore for more nights! And hotel prices are not that great for value in Singapore! Also Marriot hotels we have stayed in e.g India (mumbai) have worked ut to be 拢150 a night! Even in other cities this chain of hotel is expensive!

I am amazed at the prices in general around the whole of KUL. They have great rates. But why is this? Why are hotel prices in KUL much cheaper then say Singapore and other cities?

We were surprised to get a good deal for a 5 star hotel! , just enjoy it and be sure the hotel is really good and beautiful. The services is fanstantic! And further more Malaysia is having %26#39;Visit Malaysia Year 2007%26#39; so you will find so many events this year. It is worth to go and visit the country.

Here is a link for you to read and also the map route for the monorail, PUTRA and Star.

The nearest PUTRA station from the hotel is about 10 minutes walk (Dang Wangi Station) . You can ride it to KLCC if you didnt want to walk or take a taxi. The Monorail in front of the Concorde Hotel, will take you to Bukit Bintang area! To go to China Town, take the PUTRA (Dang Wangi Station) to Pasar Seni Station (Central Market Station) get down and you will see the Central Market across from the station and from right side of the Station, just walk straight you will be in China town. The China town starts from 6.00 pm onwards and during the day, you will find so many hawkers selling fresh fruits and some t-shirts too.

p/s: Like any other countries in the world, just be careful of pickpockets especially if you are riding the underground, buses, monorail! Make sure your bag is on the front side when riding it!

If you walk on the street, make sure your handbag are on the inside way not on the street side!

Take care and have a wonderful trip!

The exchange rate makes it favourable for westerners to Malaysia, pre-financial crisis years, a US Dollar can get only RM2.50, now it%26#39;s more like RM3.40, though the rinngit has been strengthening lately, so get it while it%26#39;s still cheap.

Singapore has the most expensive hotel rooms in this region, from my experience, due to its strong currency, higher standard of living...it%26#39;s not that value for money. As for India, it%26#39;s a matter of supply and demand, there isn%26#39;t enough hotels to cater for the demand, hence the exisitng ones can charge higher prices....and there aren%26#39;t 4 star hotels around, mostly 5 stars.
