suggestions please

I will be traveling with my husband this July to KL and will be staying for 3 nights. We are planning to stay in either Traders Hotel or Hotel Maya. We are in our late 30%26#39;s, and love the outdoors. We are considering to visit a popular zoo, maybe visit the Batu caves, or join the fireflies tour, and maybe visit places with historical relevance, and lastly a little bit of shopping. Do you think it%26#39;s possible to do all these in 4 days? What other places do you suggest we visit in KL?

By the way,we are also considering to spend a day in either Genting or Sunway Lagoon. In your opinion, which is worth considering?

Can you recommend a website that offers good deals on the hotels we mentioned?

I think you can give the zoo a miss. If you like water park, then Sunway Lagoon aritificial beach and slides, else it%26#39;s mostly kiddy rides... Genting is in a Highlands, you can spend a night there and stay at the cheap First World Hotel, very small room though. It%26#39;s highland weather and some Casinos...

you can try www.hoteltravel.com , marimari.com for hotel bookings. Sometimes, certain hotels offer best rate on their website, not sure about those 2 u mentioned, worth trying.

I would suggest a visit to the aquarium at Convention Centre near the KLCC, Petronas Twin Tower which offer free ticket but you will have to collect it very early in the morning as it is limited.

I have never been to a fireflies tour but my husband did, he told me it is something new to see but you will have to go on tour for this.

Give Sunway Lagoon a miss. You have only 4 days so spend it wisely.

Fireflies is good. This type of firefly you can only see here and South America.

In my opinion, I think you should spend a day shopping, a day doing a city tour, a day in Batu Caves/Genting. You can squeeze in the fireflies in the evening of the shopping day.

Peekaboo and Maic, thanks too! Will take your suggestion to join a tour for the fireflies, visit Batu caves and Genting,and see the Aquarium and of couse visit the Petronas Tower.

My husband and I are trying to avoid to go shopping, since it%26#39;s only me who is going to enjoy, hahaha....
