Air Asia KL to Hanoi or Bangkok

Hello there.

Needing a bit of advice plse.Do you think going from KL by Air Asia to Bakok or Hanoi, which city is better? We like temple and river cruise and othr culture sites.

different counties, difffernt cultures. Neither can be rated better than the other.Hard to advise.

Hanoi is less developed, communist controlled but has a charm of its own. I am not sure if they have a river cruise, but there are a number of Chinese temples that are very interesting and very cultural. In fact they have asia%26#39;s oldest university that was started by confucius.

Bangkok can be a lot more happening if you are male, and has many temples. Becareful of the scam of people trying to sell you jewellery at a bargain, only to find out you purchased something worthless. Search the bangkok forum.

Hanoi :sea cruise at Halong Bay,river cruise at ninb binh and very old temple also.

Thank you leopang for your suggestion.Where is old temples you said?In Ninh Bihn? How far Ninh Bihn is from Hanoi?

Halong bay is a day%26#39;s trip but most people recommend you stay overnight (abt 3-4 hours journey to get there), something like James Bond Man with the Golden Gun type of feel (although it was shot in Phuket)..

There are many old temples within Hanoi city itself, don%26#39;t need to venture far.
