Hello there,
Is it possible to go on a half day tour to the below locations:
1) Taman Lagenda Langkawi (Legend Park)
2) Mt Cincang cable car ride %26amp; 7 wells
3) Gondwana Mountain
Are these places very far from each other?
Thanks
Half day tour
Hi There,
R u staying at Langkawi or Penang or Kedah? Half day is too short, as you need to que for tickets, travelling, etc. Langkawi is not a big island, but the road is not as good as in SG. At Mt Cincang, you may want to take some pics, etc. Nothing much at 7 wells though.
Half day tour
Well everybody has his favorite! Seven Wells is one of my favourite spots. I love the surrounding area you can also walk from there to halfway the cablecar, but you must have a good condition and a guide!
For half a day I should say go to seven wells it%26#39;s beautiful first go to the top where you find the sevenwells the legend say the angels are playing here in morningtime. I have never seen them!
Don%26#39;t forget to bring a bottle of water, you will need it!
Then halfway on your wayback you can go to the waterfall and have a dip!
After that go to Oriental Village where you can go with the cablecar
and will have spectaculair spots! At the end you also can see Thailand!
In Oriental Village you can do some shopping or go to Telaga Harbour park for coffee and pastries to the Loaf, the Japanese Bakery.
Legenda Park is in Kuah so thats totally the other way.
And Gondwana mountain isn;t on Langkawi!
There is a very good infrastructure on Langkawi the roads are safe and the new Highway from Kuah to the airport is almost finished
Have a nice holiday!

I found the above 3 areas from this website:

As it was stated they are in Langkawi northwest area, hence I thought they could be a short distance from each other.
I am going to Penang for 21-22 Jun, then go to Langkawi on 22 night to 24. 23rd will be going to Pulau Payar and 24th will be doing some sight seeing.
I have booked a package which offers 3D2N stay at Holiday Villa and a half day tour, plus return airport transfers. I thought it%26#39;s a pretty good deal at RM370 per pax. The only thing is the half day tour doesn%26#39;t seem to be any good. I was given to choose from one of the below half-day tour:
Option A
~ Langkawi Bird Paradise
~ Galeria Perdana
~ Mt.Cinchang Cable Car
~ Oriental Village
~ Telaga Harbour Park
Option B
~ Underwater World
~ Mahsuri Memorial Park
~ Atma Alam Art Gallery
~ Gamat Factory
~ Eagle Square
I think in this case I will have to take Opion A as it goes to Mt Cincang but I am not too interested in all the other locations and the tour agency doesnt allow us to change.
Option A is an excellent choice as a trip on the cable car is something not to be missed. The views on the way up and from the top are stunning. The Oriental Village is a very pretty place although a bit touristy and there are quite a few good and cheap places to eat.

Option A is the better choice, takes you to both sides of the island.
If you are going to be in Kuah for shopping its easy enough just to walk over to Eagle Sq. Its right next to the jetty in Kuah.
Don%26#39;t know where that mountain is. Do you mean Gunung Raya ?
