We will write a review when we come back home, but we just wanted to tell you that we are staying at this moment at The Datai Hotel at this moment for 3 more nights and is fantastic!!
We are in a Super Villa in the jungle, our Villa is #8 and is super!! we love it!! but if you want to see monkeys around your villa you maybe need to get the Villa #3 or the ones that are lower or you can see lots of wild animals if you stay in the main building.
Today in the afternoon we saw lots of monkeys in the main building hotel where the End Suites are and the the other rooms, we also saw a snake (not the dangerous one)
Make a reservation for a Romantic Dinner! we had a Romantic Dinner in the Beach and the Sunset was gorgeous! incredible!!
Bring a nice camara if you can!!

Do take a stroll along Datai beach to The Andaman, try the japanese restuarant there, food is delicious. You can book a tatami room if you want to be private, I recommend the tepanyaki counter, you normally need to book this as the food must be prepared in advance.
Or try The Gulai House for some very good malay/indian food.
Club House at The Golf Club is great for lunch, and its cheaper than the resort. Just sign as you do in the resort. Ask at the lobby, they will take you down and pick you up again.

Hey Regio, I am so sorry I didn%26#39;t mail you the pictures of the Datai, things were a little hectic, however I was under no illusion that you would love it as much as we did.
The romantic dinner on the beach is well worth it isn%26#39;t it, a must for anyone due to visit.
On your return could you please let me know the fate of the Kangara, the boat at the Datai, she got washed up in a storm whilst we were there and they were struggling to move her. Such a shame for a lovely boat especially if there will be no more sunset cruises on offer, again this was truly a highlight of our holiday.
