looking for 4/5star resort style accommodation with childrens (3yrs) activties/club/babysitting and somenice resturants.

Looking to go mid jan 2008

Hi smok4, if beach is your main criteria, then Phuket.

For 4/5 star with your kids club- Holiday Inn in PAtong, or several beach resorts in Karon/Kata beach area.

Phuket sounds better for you, not Penang. Le Meridien Phuket is child friendly. It has too many restaurants %26amp; bars until I wonder who%26#39;ll come and dine there, especially after Tsunami. Just too many!!! They have a huge pool and I think your children will love it. (Is it too cold to swim in January?) I was there in Sept last year. I stay twice at Deevana Patong as the prices are much lower.
