Have just spent 7 wonderful days in this beautiful place. My husband and I stayed at the Pacific Sutera and loved it. He hadn%26#39;t even heard of KK before, but definitely wants to return there. We loved everything about it. Trip advisor was the one research tool I had used to gather information prior to our trip. We used a local guide James Toh (who has been recommended before on this website) and he was everything we expected. Very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and a lovely sense of humour. His number is 019-871-8561. He took us on a river cruise where we saw lots of monkeys, otters, crocodiles, fireflies, etc. It was awesome. On another day, James took us to the Monsopiad Cultural Village (headhunters) and the water village. We enjoyed his company and knowledge. We ate at Fish and Co on a number of occasions, which had fantastic seafood. Can%26#39;t wait to go back.

We are going to KK next week. I wounder how much you hv to pay for the local guide? We hv 6 people including small children, i wounder the river cruise is it suitable for children. I am sure the kid would love to see the monkeys and otters, but not the crocodiles.
